The Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building (DAB) at University of Technology Sydney (UTS) is leading the field in exploring the professional practices of the future through the initiation of cutting-edge research projects. As part of its ambitious program of research expansion, UTS has created five special PhD scholarships for 2011 for doctoral applicants in DAB. Each scholarship, available to students of exceptional research potential, is for full-time study and provides a tax-exempt stipend (AUD$22,500 per annum plus moving allowance and thesis allowance). Within DAB, the School of the Built Environment is interested in applicants who would like to participate in three major research streams: (1) Advanced Digital Modelling in Building Delivery; (2) Life Cycle Based Models for Sustainable Buildings; and (3) The Dynamics of Complex Real Property Rights (see http://www.dab.uts.edu.au/research/centres/apccrpr/index.html
