Heinrich Böll Foundation Scholarships
Heinrich Böll Stiftung support undergraduates, graduates, and PhD students in all subjects who embrace the Green cause, share the fundamental values of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, can demonstrate an excellent academic record, and are socially and politically active. Heinrich Böll Foundation Scholarship programme brings together students from all over the world.
German students, students who have gained their university entrance qualification from a German school school (‘Bildungsinländer_innen’) and students from EU countries. Applicants must study a subject within the areas of Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Enineering (university or college, e.g. Fachhochschule; degrees: Bachelor, Diploma, State Examination AND Master). Applicants studying for a first degree (degree: Bachelor, State Examination or Diploma) can apply for a scholarship before their studies begin; applications are possible within the first three semesters at the time of application.
Applicants studying in a Master’s programme can apply for a scholarship before their studies begin; applications are possible within the first semester of the Master’s programme at the time of application. Funding priority is given to subjects within the areas of Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Engineering with a focus on sustainability and environmental and energy issues. For applications from EU countries: The regional focus is on Central and Eastern Europe.
